A more open conversation.

Questions about your body or sexual life can be difficult to bring into a conversation. You may worry about being judged, compared, or expected to have the answer already. Therapy offers space to speak at your own pace.

My work with men makes room for desire, pleasure, shame, body image, and the emotional experience of physical change. We can explore what intimacy means to you and what helps you feel connected to yourself and to others.

Beyond expectations.

You may have absorbed the idea that men should always want sex, know what to do, or feel confident in their bodies. Those expectations can make ordinary differences and personal questions feel difficult to acknowledge.

There is no performance to meet here. We can talk about what you want, what you don't want, and the experiences or expectations that make it harder to communicate either.

What we can make room for.

Desire, pleasure, and intimacy

We can explore differences in desire, anxiety around sex, difficulty discussing preferences, and what makes closeness feel comfortable or uncertain. Consent, boundaries, and mutual respect guide these conversations.

Your relationship with your body

Aging, illness, disability, changes in sexual functioning, or shifts in appearance may bring feelings that are hard to name. We can talk about confidence, loss, identity, and how you want to relate to your body as it is now.

Sexuality, identity, and shame

There is room to explore sexual orientation, gender, fantasies, and relationship structures without needing to fit a predetermined model. My practice welcomes LGBTQIA+ clients, consensually nonmonogamous relationships, and kink and BDSM communities.

We can examine the messages you have received about sex and masculinity, and consider which beliefs reflect your values and which leave you feeling disconnected or ashamed.

Care for the whole of you.

This is a space for the emotional and relational sides of men's health. Therapy does not replace medical assessment or treatment. When a concern calls for medical care, we can discuss involving an appropriate healthcare professional alongside our work.

You are welcome to begin with a question, a change you've noticed, or something you have never felt able to say aloud.
